Principles of Project Management

This course provides the principles of project management based on the primary principles of Project Management Institute (PMI)’s Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. At specified intervals, participants will complete an evaluated assessment of their comprehension and applied knowledge of the principles of project management:

  • Describe and map project life cycles and identify resources, stakeholders, and tools needed at each stage.

  • Consider estimated cost, time constraints and task dependencies in developing realistic project scopes and goals.

  • Utilize relevant software for effective project management.

This course is delivered by the Golisano Institute for Business and Entrepreneurship in collaboration with the College of Professional Studies at Syracuse University.
