Principles of Coding for Business Analytics

This course provides the principles of computing coding as it relates to analyzing data and determining the best use of that data to aid informed decision making as a foundation for future Business Analytics courses. At specified intervals, participants will complete an evaluated assessment of their comprehension and applied knowledge of the principles of coding:

• Explore and build executable computer programs to perform specific functions and tasks using basic coding functions.

• Examine and apply coding in the creation and use of software, operating systems, websites, and applications.

• Develop code to efficiently and accurately complete basic business analysis functions.

This course is delivered by the Golisano Institute for Business and Entrepreneurship in collaboration with the College of Professional Studies at Syracuse University.
